29-Jan-07: New look – time for experiments

I moved my blog today (29/01/07) for the second time since starting to blog in Apr 06. Please bear with me whilst I experiement with the freedom this hosted version of wordpress gives. Do let me know your comments as usual and please reset your links.

Any idea where I can locate the WP blog stat counter?

This blog is now hosted by Ixis. Chris and Mike, thank you. By the way, if you need any work done using Drupal, I recommend Ixis boys highly.

  • Hey, Manoj, you should get a Snipperoo account and make a Panel for the right hand column here. Put the code for all the bits you’ve got in there now in – and you can add and remove things from then on to your heart’s content. What’s more, I’ll personally help you do it – and anyone else who wants to learn.

  • Nice work on the relaunch Manoj.

Good to see you’ve ditched wordpress.com so you’ve got much more control over things now. I’d suggest using wp-contactform (or some similar form with captcha) and linking to this to contact you rather than listing your email address everywhere in plain text – you are just asking for more spam there 😉

It’s a shame you can’t 301 redirect your old posts as the search engines should honour that status code and eventually reindex stuff on the new URL.

Suppose you need to get everyone to update their blogrolls (again) 🙂
