OpenCoffee North – Task completed with launch of OpenCoffee Sheffield

Dean Sadler recently announced the launch of OpenCoffee Sheffield. From July onwards, you have the option to attend an OpenCoffee event every Tuesday in the North of England, these being: 1st Tuesday – Leeds – Imran Ali 2nd Tuesday – Sheffield – Dean Sadler 3rd Tuesday – Liverpool – Phil Blything 4th Tuesday – Manchester – moi! OB10 – steaming ahead with e-invoicing

University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL), one of the largest and busiest teaching trusts in England, has selected OB10 to improve the efficiency of processing over 115,000 invoices per year and provide key management information that will help the front-line. As part of the solution, OB10 has integrated with COA (previously CedarOpenAccounts) Health Business Suite – the finance and procurement system. ExPP Summit in London – major annual European e-invoicing/EIPP event

The next European ExPP Summit will be held on 10th and 11th September in London. According to Bruno Koch who runs the event, solution and service providers attending either as partners and/or exhibitors include: Accountis Europe Ltd – multi-hub solutions with inter-connectivity. DHL is expected help Accountis become a key European supplier. Ariba, Inc – Supplier network hub with 160,000 suppliers providing accounts payable connectivity for large buyers. Taking stock..

I have now been blogging for well over a year, and perhaps its time to take stock and review areas I ought to focus on. So what does interest me? Two areas come to mind: Documents Startups Documents Very wide area. I am interested in both structured and unstructured information in the form of documents. Finally, an informal collaboration platform for Engineers

 IET has launched an on-line collaboration platform for Engineers, as a result of an initiative by Altran. The I-Spark allows engineers to share experiences and expertise, and inform others of individual career aspirations and progress. What a great idea! Breaking News….OpenCoffee Leeds Uno

Imran Ali has finally done the smart thing, after weeks (if not months) of thinking and taking in feedback for a venue and date to start the first OpenCoffee Leeds event.
