Accountis #5 – Round up of recent news

According to Susan Davies of Accountis, Brian Thumwood, e-billing Programme Manager Europe of DHL will deliver a speech titled “Delivering e-invoicing across europe” at the ExPP Summit on 11th September, covering  DHL, background, strategy and approach. Current status and plans. Issues faced and how these have been overcome. Opportunities. As far as I understand, DHL is Accountis’ most important client. NW StartUp 2.0 – 3rd Event

As planned, NW StartUp 2.0 event took place on 14th June 2007 at KPMG Manchester. Both Sam Sethi and Alain Falys were unable to attend due to personal and business reasons respectively. This did not have a significant impact on the outcome of the event, as Ajaz Ahmed and David Ingram easily filled the vacuum created by the two missing speakers. Blog gets better look and feel – what’s next?

Just as humans go through mid-life crises from time to time, so do blogs – at least I am convinced! This blog could sit in the centre of everything I do with respect to professional life (i.e. excluding family life). I only came to this realisation yesterday (it should have been obvious, I know) after conversations with PhilB and AnishK. So I spent last night and tonight changing the theme of the blog.
