I would sign up to most new SaaS tools. I used to be one of the earliest users of such applications, e.g. @zendesk
These days, I no longer do this due to:
– Thousands of new apps launched everyday
– Their survival rate is way too short
– Some don’t even have account delete option
The world has changed.
Fully coded > low code > no code > AI coded
With each of these stages, the survival rate declined. AI coded apps probably have weeks to few months, perhaps even days, as the effort and validation that goes in is so low.
The graveyard is full and overflowing. You cannot just call it a waste. For some it’s a great opportunity to trial. But for the end user, it’s creating a nightmare when choosing new tools.
If I sign up to new apps, almost in all cases, its to learn so that I can apply that learning to one of my products, in most cases version 2 of https://skilledup.life being built. But it’s not for actually using the app.
How has your own behaviours change as a user of software applications?
