No idea what the industry acronyms are, but I decided we need to drastically change our focus at SkilledUp Life if we are to survive until Version 2 is ready sometime in the future.
Sailing mode
Since our inception, our key focus has been to focus on the supply side of the two-sided marketplace, i.e. volunteer end. Whilst I am not satisfied with our performance, we have nevertheless managed to build a volunteer pool of 50,000 from 140 countries.
We generated revenue from day 1 but never really hit our targets. We have significant churn due to many reasons.
War mode
Today, we switch our focus to tech startup customers. I want 80% of our effort to focus on acquiring and retaining customers. All our teams need to focus on supporting sales. Count today as Day 1 and I will try to share our progress as we move forward.
