I’m 52

This is the extended version of my post on Linkedin today. I’m 52 today! So much to achieve over the next 48 years or until there is no more Manoj. Since the Covid 19 started, the lockdown continues to help me reach clarity and purpose. As I mentioned before, I will be working on reducing wastage in building tech companies. All the pieces are there except one and I know it will come. The core to all this is the trusted network and friendships I’ve built since 2004. There are a lot of special people in my closed network from Andrew…

Waking up in a pool of sweat

Good morning All! It’s 8 am on a Saturday. I woke up in a pool of sweat. I don’t normally see dreams. But saw one last night which I do not understand. The last image I have is I entered a room (they did not invite me in – it was still being arranged). Its ceiling was at least 3 floors high and painted in white. Uniting the world through WhatsApp

The tech evolution started to accelerate at the back end of 20th century. Then we had the dot com bust. Some of those who survived, are ruling the world today. Among them are Facebook and YouTube. Flickr which inspired…

How to retain your sanity with Vodafone Broadband

Before you start a chat with Vodafone staff to complain and hopefully rectify your poor broadband service, it’s best to prepare yourself. Download Vodafone broadband app to your mobile and activate mobile data. Download few broadband speed analyser test apps. They never display the same speed, so prepare to pull whatever the hair left on your head or elsewhere. Get a screw driver.…

3 Types of friends you have

As I fight through the mess I’ve created myself, there have been occasions where I had to ask for real help from my friends. Whilst I hold no grudge against them for their responses, I’ve come to realise that they can easily be segmented into three types, these being: Friends who can help but won’t for reasons only known to them. These are the guys who sit on the sideline and watch. Friends who are happy to provide encouraging words. Whilst positive energy is vital, sometimes this just isn’t enough. Friends who would go the extra mile. This also raises a…
